Plus, each condo features either a patio or balcony for your river viewing—and coffee sipping—pleasure.

It will be apparent from the start that an inordinate amount of thought has gone into integrating the building with the surrounding environment. Their are two rooftop terraces and a connecting boardwalk, which can provide a place to gather with friends for cocktails and conversation, or a place to relax with a good bottle of wine and watch the sunset paint the French Broad River in golden half light.

While on the roof, you will also notice something oddly out of place, yet totally welcomed: plants. It's our partial living roof, just one of the dozens of innovative green technologies used throughout the building. Other green innovations include a cistern to catch rainwater to reuse in our landscaping and convenient recycling on every floor.

Back inside, the lobby is richly decorated in a lodge motif. Of course, the landscaped, four-story atrium that pulls sunlight down to the interior section of the building is so dazzling, one couldn't blame you if you overlooked the warm wood tones and vintage photography and outdoor equipment that add to the rustic feel of The River.

The active lifestyle you live calls for a active, healthy body. Our state-of-the-art gym will have the best equipment, and it will be open so you can exercise on your schedule, whatever it may be. Speaking of the best equipment, yours will be well-protected when not in use, thanks to overhead gear storage racks, conveniently located above your free covered parking. That's right, covered parking: no more scraping snow from the windshield or braving the elements just to get to your front door.
